Module 7: Hybrid Platform – Write Once Deploy anywhere

As you have already seen, you can deploy your application to the embedded development runtime that is built into Anypoint Studio. That embedded runtime is not meant for production deployments. Ultimately you will want to deploy your application to an environment better suited for its intended purpose.

Whether your applications are going to run in CloudHub, on-premises, or a combination of both, Anypoint Platform offers you the flexibility to deploy the same application to any environment. Anypoint Runtime Manager is Anypoint Platform tool used to deploy and manage your Mule applications from one central location, whether your apps are running within CloudHub or on-premises. So you can write your applications and APIs once, and run them anywhere.

  • Run apps on-premises, on MuleSoft’s CloudHub or any other public or private cloud

  • Manage runtimes across a hybrid IT environment from a single management view

  • Move apps between cloud and on-premises environments without rewriting code

In Module 7, you will deploy, view, and manage the same application on both CloudHub and, optionally, on-premises within your own environment. You will learn about some of the features that are different between the two deployment models. You will also be able to use the same Studio development environment to build, deploy, and run the same application in both environments. Finally you are going to learn how you can automate the deployment using the Jenkins, Maven, and the Mulesoft Maven Plugin

The Module is separated in three different labs.
